Power and Functions

  • At present the above said trustee constituted a trust in memory of the Late Surabi Ranga Rao. In order to enable the trustees to satisfactorily carry out the trust herein before declared are empowered to do all acts, deeds, and things reasonable and proper for the realization, maintenance, protection, and benefits of the trust including collection of funds to augment the income of the trust. The existing trustees can co-opt fresh trustees on a contribution of Rs.50,000/- (fifty thousand rupees) as a trust fund.
  • Al properties and funds and management of the trust shall vest in the board of trustees.
  • The trust board shall have all powers for the expulsion of any member/member for any proven activity or misconduct, detrimental to the interest of the trust.
  • The trust board shall have powers to suspend any member/member for any misconduct, misbehavior, detrimental to the interest of the trust, or involvement in any criminal or anti-social activities. The cases are pending within the jurisdiction of the Govt. of India. The maximum suspension period shall be six months. The trust board shall have the power to continue the suspension beyond six months from time to time, if necessary in all such cases, the trust board shall have the power to appoint any inquiry committee.
  • The trust board shall have powers to elect, remove office bearers of the managing committee for any proven activity or misconduct and detrimental to the the interest of the trust.
  • The trust board shall have powers to approve the annual budget, estimate, amend the budget estimates, approve the income and expenditure, and also audit reports.
  • The trust board shall have the power to approve/reject the actions taken by the managing committee under emergency circumstances.
  • The trust board shall have the power to pass amendments, repeal the existing by-laws, or make new ones.
  • The board of trustees shall frame the by-laws for the administration of the trust.
  • The funds of the trust shall be spent only for aims and objects of the trust mentioned above and no part thereof shall be transferred either directing or indirectly to any other purposes.
